The prelude to interview was like a world war. SO much introspection and retrospection about one self is the key to break through an MBA interview and I discovered that I am really confused about myself.
This was a good excercise for last few days. So much reading about ethics, digital and social media and coining a perfect story to qualify me as the best candidate.
it was 18th eb 2011 and lots of GD/PI candidatye gathered at Hotel Tunga Paradise....Started with a Q/A round.. Best part was when admission director came to address the question..
He quipped, answered every question with so much humour and wittiness that I was flabbergasted.This was my first intro to any official from college and I perfectly liked it.
No boasting promises and simple yet profound answer.
One student asked "Y don't this college offer scholarship?" and answer was "Because laxmi and Saraswati should have different ways. No mix up..:P" a burst of laugh and the impactful answer unlikely to other MBA college...Liked it...Srry in facebook language..SuperLike It.
Wait was longer for GD and when they called the first batch . countdown began....
And we were in the second batch....Feedback from the first batch.."We made too much chaos."...and so we all were cautious this time..There were some arguments but in all , it was a perfect GD....
I have lowered down my benchmarks for perfection..:P
So In not much time we came out of GD, Here came my interview call...
Ok! So time has come to show what you are made for..:)
I was offered a seat outside of interview room as one interview was going on..I could overhear lots of sounds from the room..This was a tough time..I went up, had some water..fidgeted in the corridor, did some excercise (I had an severe headche and had asprin already)...
After some time , I was called..Open the door and WOW.....what a pretty interviewer...:) I liked ...She was a lady in 50s, yet vulnerable , alluring and with her perfectly designed speckes..she was giving a glimpse of what she wd have been in her 20s or 30s..
Oops! What was that...:P Heard a sound of flush . I was inquisitive enough with that sound and here we go One more interview ..An old ,yet dynamic man..
I said Hiii to him..
and here we go..Nice session...I told them about my idea of entreprenurship and social media site....
They were asking about the business plan and I did not have any clue :P..Apart from that it was a fine interview...
What a hecting day!
With lots of ethical influx in me for a few days, I decided to come office in the evening inspite of headache...and inspite of headache my wild heart decided to go for dinner with a close friend...
Its a theme restaurent named THE VILLAGE...I met a astrologer there who predicted that I should start packing for the college...I was happy..too happy:)
A hectic day with so many events with so many folded dream....!
Here is a wish, I want a selection this year ..thats my biggest dream at this moment..
